Client's Challenge

IBM is a leading global technology company that creates business value for clients and solves business problems through integrated solutions that leverage information technology and deep knowledge of business processes.

IBM provides solutions to clients with an industry leading portfolio of consulting, delivery, and implementation services, enterprise software, systems, and financing.

Fluor's Solution

Fluor, with more than 800 employees, provides facility management services to IBM at more than 300 sites across the U.S. and design and construction services at multiple major IBM facilities.

Fluor uses proven best practices to manage the IBM program. Best practices cover site management, work process control, supply chain management, cost and financial management, engineering and construction, document and data control, HSE, and other areas.

Fluor has also implemented a value creation program to provide cost savings and performance improvement. Anyone on a project site can enter a value awareness suggestion into an online database, which is then reviewed and approved by IBM and implemented on the site.

Fluor values the important 26-year business relationship with IBM and continues to provide services that offer long-term value to this important client.
